Does anyone know of any new Emelan books that Tammy is contracted to write? I know she's planning on doing a Rosethone/Briar/Evvy in Yanjing book, and a book about Tris in Lightsbridge - but does anyone know when these are planned for?

I'm guessing sometime after 2013, based on her website. Which kinda sucks, cos that's like what, 5 years away?

Well, I believe both stories have been consistently pushed back (first slated for 2008, then 2009, then 2010 last I checked). Short answer, a while. Or as the makers of one online game I'm on say, "Two weeks. Always two weeks." Which is sad, I really want to know what happened in Yanjing! And see Tris fall in love! Other than that, I've not heard of any. I'd like to catch up with the twins at some point, maybe a few years after we left them.

That sucks WotE and MS left me wanting so much more Emelan. I thought both books were so well written - WotE is probably my favourite of Pierce's books overall.

I know, I loved WotE and MS was pretty cool too.

According to Tammy's website, the Yanjing book is due out late next year, though that might not be super accurate as I know there have been delays with Bloodhound etc!

Yanjing is now scheduled for 2011 I believe, as Mastiff has been bumped up before it and will be published 2010. Depending on how productive Tammy is though they might both be 2010. It's not clear at the moment.
That and the Tris book are the only ones she's contracted for at the moment.

Is it Mastiff or Elkhound? I was so sure there were only three books in this set, but I swear half the time I see Mastiff on her site and half the time it's Elkhound. Also, welcome!

It's Mastiff. Tammy's website isn't properly updated yet (with either the names or the publication schedule). I hope when that promised new website arrives the info will be correct. Thanks for the welcome.

Oh good, cos I'm pretty sure that's what I put on the website, but I could have sworn I had used it to double-check it on there when I did it. :S (You're welcome. And feel free to start a thread in the Welcome Wagon so we can welcome you properly and lavish you with attention )
