Hey Goldenlakers!!
It's been a jam packed few months over here at Goldenlake! There's been lots of projects and events going on. Also, we're at over 200 members, with over 25,000 posts, which is just beyond awesome!
We apologise for the delay in the release of this issue - both to those who contributed, and our lovely readers. As you know, sometimes life intervenes! Hopefully we won't have any further issues with releases!
Staff
I'd like to give a big thank you to all our staff members for their hard work and dedication to the board. Also, welcome our newest staff members, Greenie (Ren) and Minuit Mystique (Sue)! They've been awesome these last few months as they've settled into their new role as modlies.
Projects
We've got a bunch of ongoing projects, at different stages. Of major note is the starting up of the new fanfic archive, thekingsown.org. We've had a few technical issues of late, but it has now been relaunched! The cookbook has been released and is looking wonderful - thanks for everyone's contributions! There's also the wiki, with almost 500 articles at this point! And of course, Giantkiller. We'll be opening sign-ups for the March issue ASAP. I really encourage you involved in as many of these as you can - it's really a lot of fun!
Competitions, Exchanges and Events
Omg, where to begin? We've had the Fairytales Challenge, One Sentence Week, Villians Week, the Twitter Weekend, and of course, the Wyldon Winter Mount Up. I'd really like to thank everyone for participating, it's been amazing. And stay tuned for Secrets and Lies week in January, the TORTALL FANFIC SMACKDOWN in February and March, and all the other events we have planned for the first half of 2010!

A big thank you to the team who helped put our second issue together! And a special thanks to Greenie for pinch-hitting. To all our readers - we hope you enjoy it!
