Is there some way to turn on a notification of...when you've either started a thread or posted in a thread, and it will e-mail you when you get replies on said threads? I've poked around a bit and can't seem to find it- I think that this would be a useful feature, but maybe it's disabled or none exists on proboards. Thanks!

Usually when you receive the emails about the thread there is a link at the bottom of the email saying "Unsubscribe".

One sentence week is just a fun sort of thing where we write Tammy fics that are one sentence long .  It could be a really short sentence, or a long run-on one, it doesn't matter. And it's only running for a week. Also, as far as I know, we can't subscribe to topics  |

It's already a feature but goes under the name of "Bookmarks". Options for changing your notification type can be found on the "View Profile -> Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks" page. For more information, check out the bookmarks section of our Help Page. |

It's not showing up that I'm online even though I am. I've tried logging out and back in, but it didn't change. Help? Nevermind, I just got it to work. I hadn't read all the things to choose from in the modify profile section carefully and had the "remain invisible" as yes. Oops  |

I anyone else having weird problems with Glake? The screen is flashing when I try and scroll down and it's just being weird- but it's only when GLake is open...?

Not at all serious, but when I log out, the layout is all beautiful and green, and when I log in the banner stays gorgeous, but the layout reverts back to blue and stuff. Is there a way for me to change some option somewhere which will make it green when I login? I feel like I'm missing out  |

Go to your profile --> Modify Profile --> Select Skin. There's a layout option, either Daine or OSW atm, and if you change it there it should be fixed. |

Quick question. Is there a reason why, as of about two days ago, I have not been able to click on text with my mouse on Goldenlake? I can still write "replys", but it just wont let me click on an earlier paragraph and it means that I have to use the arrow keys to navigate the message section. Also, it won't let me copy and paste on Goldenlake, which can be pretty annoying when you're trying to insert a link.

^I've been having similar problems.  I have to right click or select all and then click if I want to use the text box, and like you said, no copying/pasting/selective highlighting because the left mouse button doesn't seem to be working. Makes things rather difficult. I think for me it started round about the time when the new layout was up? |

I fifth (am I the fifth?) that I have the same problem and am also using IE. If you want to paste something just use crtl-v. You can't copy anything because you'd need to be able to select it in the first place but at least it solves half the problem.

Well we're back to the new layout, although really I don't think it should do anything to such capabilities because it is just a change of the visual form of the board, and the layouts don't have any functional modifications on them.
I just tried it in IE, and had the same problem, although on Chrome I can use it just fine. I'll have a search on the proboards forums and see whether there is a reason for the issue.

I signed in perfectly fine earlier, but halfway through the screen went obscenely colored, and now it's just striped fragments, so I can't go back in. Could it be a javascript issue for me? :S

Most likely. I was in and out of chat a bit yesterday, and it was fine for me. I can't test it atm, cos apparently my brother's comp doesn't have java.
As to the IE issues, I'm still talking in support to try and figure it out. The IE issues should be fixed. Apparently I chopped the closing brackets when I changed the link banner link. >.< |
