Salty Captain

Binur was taught how to sail by the same salty, ocean-hardened captain who had instructed his father, as the captain relished reminding Binur whenever he believed Binur was getting too big for his breeches.

This one made me laugh out loud. The land and sea might be Binur’s in name, but I’m sure he needs someone to keep him humble out there on the ocean.

mistrali , thank you so much for reading and commenting! One of my favorite parts of Emperor Mage was Kaddar's early interaction with the captain who taught him how to sail so I just couldn't resist having that captain be the one to teach Binur how to sail and keep Binur in his place whenever he believes Binur is getting too big for his breeches. This was just a really fun and funny piece for me to write so I'm so happy that you got a laugh out of it as well
