This sentence made me smile so much because the monkeys pelting rotten persimmons and soursops reminds me of how squirrels used to pelt acorns from an oak tree at the cars in my family's driveway as I was growing up. Kind of cool to see all the ways nature has of fighting back through mischievous animals!

Heh, I’ve had monkeys literally snatch my food before - the ones that are used to humans are completely fearless! That was where I got the idea - and, of course, Tortall-verse crows being what they are, chucking things at their own patron god’s… I don’t know, rival? colleague? is probably too hard to resist.
