Title: Avoidance Rating: PG for sexual themes Word Count: 32 Summary (and any Warnings): Sandry decides to tell her fiancé that she’s ace. Prompt: Marry Notes: This is just one interpretation of how Sandry might feel/act.
If she procrastinated any longer, Sandry would have to break the news in their marriage bed amidst rose garlands, sandalwood candles and honey-coloured silk sheets; she was torn between laughter and tears at the prospect.

Oh, squee! I am so happy you decided to explore Sandy's asexuality in this piece and to delve into the complicated emotions she would feel thinking about marriage. I also appreciate all the rich details with the rose garlands, sandalwood candles, and honey-colored silk sheets. It really made me feel as if all my senses were engaged, and I was immersed in Sandy's mental image of what the wedding night would be like if she doesn't tell her fiancé she's ace. Another great sentence from you!

Thank you! As we know, Sandry is usually fearless, but I thought she might be rather more apprehensive about revealing something like this to her fiance. Especially if she is making a traditional marriage in expectation of an heir.

I love this, Sandry's sense of humour warring with her sensitivity. Gorgeous imagery too (and even with Sandry's diplomacy, not an easy subject to broach).
