Title: Return Rating: G Word Count: 52 Summary (and any Warnings): Sometimes the past returns to meet us. Notes: OSW series: Rolling Stone
The years had faded the ink that crawled beneath his skin, and when he dug his fingers into the soil there were more dirt-grimed wrinkles in his palms, but kneeling in the garden at Discipline, the sun warming the shirt upon his back, Briar felt like no time had passed at all.

This was beautiful. You really captured that sense of no time seeming to have passed despite years going by, and I loved the image of Briar in the garden. Well written and well done!

The fading ink and the warm sun were a good contrast. I liked the sense of time standing still; nice callback to canon!

A return in more ways than one. Missed your writing for sure Love both the way the sentence catches the passage of time and the things that don't leave us. That summary line was good too though!

Lovely! I love the sense of Briar going back to basics/back to the beginning.
