Hypothetical Emelan TV show wishlist

If they made one, what would you want?

My main ones would be relatively accurate age ranges, unknown actors, fidelity to the magic system (so no big flashy Gift-style magic), mediaeval Turkish-inspired setting, and no whitewashing. And it should be relatively faithful to the tone and content of the books.

As a lot of the scenes in Sandry’s Book/Magic in the Weaving are slice-of-life vignettes, for example, they shouldn’t be too hard to fit into the TV show intact.

I would really like an animated Circle series, over a live-action one. I think that would give them more freedom to actually do it properly. I'm thinking Avatar or Studio Ghibli vibes.

I would love to see Emelan as an animated series! A lot of it is slice-of-life, so it might not be as expensive as doing Tortall's action scenes. And ooh, an ATLA or Ghibli feel to it would be lovely.
