As pat as it is, I’ll never stop loving this scenario (although part of that is contrariness — if canon had done it, it still wouldn’t have been enough to make up for the rest of Trickster).
Sarai and Dove probably are better suited to rule together than alone.

Same here; it's very convenient but I really think it would've been a nice ending, and they make up for each other's shortcomings! I also like the idea that the 'One Who Is Promised' is not actually a single person but a unity of sisters who have each other's backs, which would be how it flops out in this scenario!
