Did anybody watch it? What were your thoughts?
I really enjoyed it! One of my friends threw a barbecue, so we watched it at hers. I liked that Meghan included a flower from each Commonwealth country in her veil, and that Harry handpicked some of her flowers, and I thought her gown was very classy and tasteful.

No, didn't watch it. The whole royals thing is not my cup of tea, though it's pretty much inescapable with the wall to wall coverage! I do agree that the dress was very nice; unexpectedly classic and understated.

I watched it, and I found it enjoyable as I visited Windsor in October. I do wish I’d seen the front of the chapel and the Long Walk while I was there, as they were beautiful aspects.
I’m quite curious to see if there will be a rise in her style of dress for brides, because it was beautiful and classic, though I liked Kate’s as well.

I ended up watching the whole ceremony, although that hadn't been the original plan. I thought the ceremony was a bit long, but enjoyed playing "name that royal" and working out the current succession order in my head. I really liked Meghan's gown, I thought it was simple but elegant. Like Rosie, I liked that her veil had a flower from each Commonwealth country and California.
Sydney is hosting the Invictus games soon, so one of their first overseas trips as a married couple might end up being Australia.

I'm actually going to Windsor in a couple of weeks when Kat is over! I haven't visited for approximately twenty years; is there anything you'd recommend? I was really pleased that the new royal was male, meaning Charlotte is the first not to be displaced by a boy

I can’t identify most of the royals by sight (I’m awful at faces), but I watched and loved the whole wedding. The live cello performance and the procession at the end were especially beautiful. Not a fan of the preacher, though!

I didn't watch it as my wedding was the same day (although by virtue of time difference mine was first!), and the next day I was still pretty busy post-wedding.
but I've seen a few articles and her dress was lovely.
