In return for her giving up her wish to try for knighthood, Jon promises Kally she will have the right to approve her prospective bridegroom. When offers come in, Kally requests that she be able to meet her suitors without their knowing she is the prospective bride.

Er... how do we think this played out? Meetings with her two sisters? Disguises? Scarves? "Guys, this is my cousin's daughter... Lady Nalasin."? "Oh, no, we always use our princesses for peace treaties..."

I got the impression we’ll find out in a potentially upcoming short story collection...

Maybe Kally went on a Grand Tour of potential husbands? It seems quite risky to send princesses off unless they are getting married.

I can just imagine Kalasin and her ladies in waiting engaging in dress ups and subterfuge. Maybe they did it Padme style from Star Wars Episode 1? Although that probably wouldn't help Kelly get what she wanted, which I assume was to see how the potential suitors acted when they didn't know she was the princess.

Maybe she pretends to be one of her sisters or a lady-in-waiting? Or maybe Jon tells potential suitors that he is considering them for a princess but they don't know whether it will be Kally or one of the other princesses? Or maybe she magics her appearance at one point so she doesn't look like Kalasin when she interacts with a prospective husband--perhaps at a ball or something? Could be fertile ground for a fan fiction...
