Last night I booked tickets for me and my girls to go to Rarotonga later this year. We all went to school together and we're all turning 30 around the same time.

Kypriotha, Barcelona sounds lovely too! I found that it's hard to coordinate when everyone has such busy work and family lives now, though. That's why we settled on a tropical Pacific island since it's only a short haul flight and reasonably affordable.

I bought my wedding dress today! My best friend and I went to a sale at a bridal salon and they had almost nothing. We waited to get in for around 45 minutes and the only "plus sizes" they had were two size 16, an 18 and a size 30! So on the way back we randomly decided to stop in at a salon not far from home, and I unexpectedly found my dress . The consultant was lovely and put absolutely no pressure on me whatsoever to actually buy anything, which was great because if they'd given me the hard sell I probably wouldn't have bought anything. but I'm so happy with my dress and my lovely bestie bought my veil for me too! |

Who knew that moving, helping out with two weddings and looking for a new job (whilst still having to manage one's current job) could be so tiring and time consuming?

Idleness , max: Sorry, been off for a while. I really like that Jasson-conquest headcanon! Also, the book's called Salt: A World History. I've got reasons to doubt it's all that great a source (take it with a pinch of salt?) but I'm learning loltastic things from it, so

Have fun on your trip Vala I am going to Darwin for my best friend's wedding soon and I am very excited! Partly for the wedding and partly because I get to be warm for 10 days and re-visit all my favourite places (and explore some new ones)! |

Haha, yeah. I appreciate the offer, I really do, but somehow I don't think "can I please have some time off so I can write fanfic and stuff" would go down very well... Particularly as I'm a project manager!
It's quite funny at the moment, all of the employees where I work are tearing their hear out because it personal development review time. A couple of us contractors were laughing darkly because our PDR is the fact we are there at all.

It is amazing how tired setting the clock forward only one hour makes me!
(I am loving the later sunset, but it's only been a few days and I have not yet recovered from the change to daylight savings...)
