Summary: Margarry tells Wyldon of her intention to marry Owen of Jesslaw.
“I want to marry Owen.”
He stared at his youngest daughter in disbelief for a long moment, belatedly remembering to close his mouth. Finally he asked “Jesslaw? That hellion?” Margarry’s mouth took on a mulish expression as she propped her hands on her fists. She had no intention of taking ‘no’ for an answer. Not that he intended to try.
“At least the boy’s half-broken to bridle,” he muttered under his breath. Margarry’s bright green eyes flashed dangerously at him. Smiling at his youngest daughter he continued, “If you want to marry Jesslaw, I will not stop you. He is a good man, for all that he is a hellion.”
