Title: Sweet Disposition Rating: PG Summary: Briar/Sandry, one summer afternoon. A/N: Happy Valentine's to me!
"Would you kindly stop that," said Sandry, tugging the grass strand from his hand and throwing it away. Briar smiled, then took up his teasing again with the soft tips of his fingers, raising gooseflesh on her bare arm in the wake of his touch. The afternoon sun was smiling down upon the garden of 6 Cheeseman Street, and he was feeling remarkably content.
"If I knew you would continue to be so irritable," said Sandry, not taking her eyes off the book held above her, "then I would never have taken up with you in the first place."
Briar pounced, rolling himself on top of her in the short green grass, sending her sun-hat and book flying while she giggled helplessly beneath him. "Lies," he said, drawing his nose softly against hers, then leaning in to kiss her until her giggles and smiles had quite subsided.

I would never permit a guy to manhandle my books like that Maybe the hat would be fine, though. Regardless, this is super cute!
