Title: Childhood Tales

Summary (and any Warnings): Stories aren't always stories.
Notes: Set pre TIQ. Alanna's first time up close with a Spidren. Not quite spooky, but somewhat supernatural.
"Mithat ran from the beast, rightfully fearing his life. It was an enormous spider, larger than Toth, black and hairy and frightful. But its head was that of a human and it gave a blood-curdling scream as it chased Mithat, squirting out a bright green web. Mithat ducked, but the web caught him, and he fell to the ground. He flailed, trying to break free before the spidren could eat him…"
Alanna shook her head as she focused on the creature that lay dead before her. A spidren, that’s what it was. She smiled grimly, wondering what Maude would think when she heard the creatures in her tales walked the human realms once more.
