****THIS FIC CONTAINS MAJOR MASTIFF PLOT POINTS****
Series: Strong [#4] Title: Tenacious Rating: PG Event: Single Sentence Shot Put Word Count: 45 Summary: Gareth tries to understand something he hasn't ever felt. Warnings: Mastiff Spoilers...
The dust spinners don’t (can’t, won’t) speak to Gareth like they do to Beka, but he still dribbles sand through his fingers and feels their winds kick up, running like fingers through his hair while he wonders if this is what Beka (freedom) feels like.

Ooh. 's sad, but I love the pretty image I get. There's almost, hm, a child's courtesy here, the way he interacts with the spinners.

Your parentheses, your parentheses. -simultaneously laughing and crying- But really, I love you (r writing), Muse. So much for one sentence, and UH. FANTABULOUS.

Gareth, you just sit there and poke at them more. I promise, one day, they'll do what you want. Or you'll meet Tris, and that would be the best crossover EVERY.
I hate you, Muse. Tris/Gareth, look what you've made me do.

Oh, you guys are the best! @alix: Yeah, I totally know what you mean; he's got this very polite little 8 year old/9year olf thing going on here... @t-chan: I really love you too! And I'm really happy that you liked the parentheses (I was really proud of those) @griff: I make you do terrible things *nods*

I have to say this, and something I've noticed--I really love the way Gareth associates Beka with freedom. It shows not just in this fics, but in the other fics. And it's just as interesting that his freedom later becomes tied up with Beka's daughter.
Great job, Muse!
