Series: Ten Scenes Title: History Rating: PG Event: 100 word dash Words: 100 Summary: They lead, as it would be, semi-public lives.
"Do you ever realize--" his voice is soft, morning-tired, coming from her left, "that one day you and I-- this, us-- will be footnotes in a history book?"
"Cause for sadness or celebration?" She is not yet awake, pressed up as she is against the warm length of his body. Dom's hand winds through her hair, strands sticking out all over. She's not glamorous in the mornings, but she'd object to that description no matter what. He smooths down her bangs with his palm.
"Depends on who writes the footnotes."
Kel shrugs. "Maybe we could just go back to sleep."

Ahhhh I really do have a weakness for Kel/Dom, and snapshots like this are the reason why. I love how very pragmatic Kel is -- it seems very on point. And the fact that when Dom wakes up in the morning, the first thing he thinks about is what people are planning to write about him one day! (Of course he does).

Ahhhh, this is absolutely wonderful! Brilliant idea, and this is totally how they would approach it.
