Series: An Honest Living Title: Panem et Circenses Rating: PG Event: 100 Word Dash Word Count: 100 Summary: Flory adjusts to Rogue lifestyle.
"This is your share," she tells another rusher with finality, silently cursing her predecessor's carelessness. She had bought all the food she could without beggaring the Court, and it still was not enough.
This time his family has come with him: a daughter carrying his infant son. She'd known his wife, a flower seller who'd left off work when her husband's violence was too disgusting for business, but it was lung rot, in the end. She rose to scold the rusher further, leaving her own loaf of bread open to his children. No one could say the Rogue wasn't fair.

Oooh! This is brilliant, and really says something important about Flory's character.
