Series: The Dedicate and the Seer Title: Dinner and a Show Rating: G Event: Reverse Hurdles Words: 110 Summary: Niko waits for Crane so they can go to dinner.
The sun set over the greenhouse, bathing everything in a pure golden light. The rest of Winding Circle swam in shadows.
Niko waited just inside the door of the greenhouse, watching the methodical way in which Crane packed up his tools. It had beautiful rhythm – almost like a dance.
Crane looked up from his bench. “I know, I know. I’ll be ready in a moment.”
“We don’t want to lose our dinner reservation. Restaurants in the Emerald Triangle aren’t used to their guests being late.”
Niko would have looked pointedly at the hub clock if it wouldn’t have been entirely rude – and unnecessary.
The greenhouse was a bustle of activity.

Yay, Kypfic! Really, though, I love your imagery, especially pure golden light and swam in shadows. the methodical way in which Crane packed up his tools. It had beautiful rhythm – almost like a dance. This is also a wonderful description.

Thanks Tamari - for both your review and your encouragement in chat One of my favourite things about things about this pairing is that I can play with the imagery so much. It just seems so right for them
