Summary (and any Warnings): " Vimes wasn’t sure of the reason for a dragon that couldn’t light things—such as cigars—on fire."
He was quite sure this dragon was not his wife’s.
Firstly, it did not light his cigars. Vimes wasn’t sure of the reason for a dragon that couldn’t light things—such as cigars—on fire.
Secondly, it cleaned his uniform once. This already went against the grain of his wife’s dragons in general; in his experience, they tended to make his uniform less salubrious than when they started. He wasn’t sure how—there had just been an odd whistle, and suddenly his armor looked suspiciously like the palace guards’. It took hours to get it properly dirty again.
Thirdly, it kept letting in the Assassins. Not that this was as dangerous as it once would have been—the Assassin’s Guild used him as a training ground now—but it gave him a bad reputation. If killing him was too easy, they’d stop coming back.
He wasn’t really sure how the dragon had done that either. One of the Assassins said there was a chirp, and suddenly his bathroom window was open.
Yes, the dragon was not Sybil’s.
He wasn’t sure if he wanted to arrest it or make it a Corporal.
