To: Lisa Message: Happy (belated) Holidays!! I know you already had a couple of responses for this prompt, but I couldn't resist writing some Crane. I hope you like it From: Kyp Title: As He Liked It Rating: G Words: 123 Wishlist Item: 2. Crane in his greenhouse Summary: Crane likes order in his greenhouse Crane presided over his domain with an iron will. Everything was done as he liked it; everything was in its place. The people who worked in the greenhouse, hand-picked, were afraid of him and that was also how Crane liked it. Every night, between dismissing his staff and the cleaning cycle, Crane prowled through the different sections of the greenhouse; making sure everything was put away and saying goodnight to his favourite plants. This was his routine; this was how things were always were. And that was how he liked it. What Crane did not like was having his order disturbed. And even more than that, he did not like being made a fool of. And that...boy, that...woman’s...spy had managed to do both.

Ahh, this is a wonderful response! (the more the merrier, I say - unlike Crane!)
I love the time you've chosen to set this one in - it's a perfect transition moment for the characters. (well, on the brink of transition, for him.)
Thank you so very much, Kyp!!

Oh, I'm so glad you like it! This was possibly hardest response to write that I've done so far. Crane would insist on being difficult!
