Profile
May has an expert way with words and descriptions which make the scenes come to life. Variety is the spice of life, and she's not afraid to try her hand at any character, in any book - major or minor. Anything from May is simply delightful.
Title: The Feeling is Mutual
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Buri and Wyldon. It was never going to go well.
Because: She blamed this on me and Lisa, and I'm only too happy to take part of the credit. This should be chalk and cheese, but somehow May makes it work, and does it with flair.

Title: Just Exchange
Rating: PG
Summary: Neal and Yuki, just before Neal is posted to the Scanran border.
Because: I have a bit of a secret soft spot for Neal/Yuki, but I suspect that May could make even those who don't like this pairing

Title: The Quality of Mercy
Rating: PG-13
Summary: The quality of mercy is not strained; it droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven. Gary has occasion to find this out.
Because: Many people say that few pairings seem odd to them after joining Goldenlake. May makes this one seem right, somehow.

Title: Ugly Customers
Rating: PG-13
Summary: George’s unspoken threats don’t work on newcomers to the Dove. Rispah deals with the consequences, and Jon has excellent timing. Warning for attempted rape.
Because: I can never resist rogue stories, and this interaction between Jon and Rispah is delightful

Title: How Not to Repeat History

Summary: Vania of Conte and her first serious boyfriend break up.
Because: May's Vania is a confident girl, serious about being in the Riders, and always a treat to read.

Title: Lord Theodore and the Broken Ankle
Rating: G
Summary: Douglass, Sacherell and Our Hero come across a toddler in distress.
Because: Probably my favourite of the lot, unsurprisingly. It's Lord Theodore. How could you not want to read it? He thinks May depicts him perfectly
