Title: Practice Rating: G Character: Clary Goodwin Event: Humour High Jump Words: 114 Summary: Clary needed more practice.
“Clary?” Tom’s eyes widened as he poked his head around the doorway. “What are you doing?” Clary dropped the spoon as if it had burned her. “I…well…it’s sort of a long story.” Tom stepped cautiously into the kitchen and took in the green splatters which covered every surface. He cautiously swiped a finger through one and tasted it. “Pease porridge? Is it for lunch?” “No,” said Clary. She took a deep breath and then blurted out, “I was practicing.” “It’s already delicious,” Tom said in confusion. Clary sighed. “Like I said, it’s a long story,” she told him wryly. “Mattes-“ She was cut off by Tom’s chuckle. “That explains more than it doesn’t, love.”

Hee, this is awesome. I can't decide what I like more, Clary being busted practicing cooking or Tom's complete understanding of the situation.

Bahaha - I love that Tom didn't even need her to explain further than just Mattes.
