Title: Three Rating: General Prompt: This could be Switch or Numbers I’m choosing Numbers Category: Up to 250 words Word count: 203 Summary: Somewhere on circle grounds are three very embarrassed boys.
Lark gently cupped the foxglove urging it to spread its roots a little further. She’d heard there would be strong winds later that day and she didn’t want any of her plants to be hurt more than was necessary.
“How dare you! Three of my students.” A voice berated coming closer.
Lark looked up and watched in amusement as Rosethorn came down the path followed by a very irate Crane.
“If they want to keep their pants they should learn better than to annoy a stitch-witch.” Rosethorn snapped back, walking though the gate and shutting if firmly in front of Crane’s face.
“You are a grown woman. They were boys!” Crane yelled.
“Go home and tend to your monstrosity.” Rosethorn said and watched Crane splutter.
“It is a mechanical loom and you have not heard the last of this.” Crane said pointing his finger before stalking off.
Rosethorn turned and leaned against the gate and smiled at Lark and Lark watched as the thorny briars embroidered across her habit slowly bloomed into roses.
Lark smiled back and dusted the dirt from her hands and knees and walked over to lean against the gate next to Rosethorn, casually bumping shoulders as she asked,
“Three?”

I like your decision to make it numbers - three students, three dedicates, three switched powers. Brilliant!

Thankyou. I'm actually really enjoying this universe. I may have to write more. Sandry with a smear of dirt on her face as she curtseys to the Duke. Daja's people leaving her to drown thinking she's a demon. Tris bent over a table doing the delicate work required for making jewelry. Her hands itching to handle the more mundane metals such as iron and steel.
