Title: Ordeal

Summary: Zahir comes out of the Chamber.
Jon rushes to his squire’s side as Zahir tumbles out of the Chamber of the Ordeal. The young man is pale, battered, and bruised, and when he looks up at Jon, his eyes are hollow and strained, filled with nightmares that the new knight will likely never forget. His face is tear-stained, his clothes torn and bloody. Still, Jon breathes a sigh of relief, seeing that his squire is still alive. It could have been so much worse, but Jon doesn’t want to think of that. Moving forward, Jon holds him closer, helping the Bazhir through the crowd of people and back to his rooms for some needed rest.
