Summary: Weaving is not a skill Zahir has.
“Are you weaving?” Jon sat in a chair across from his knight, watching him with tired eyes. He'd been up all night reading reports.
“Oh no. He's definitely making knots.” Raoul's commentary riled only a grunt from Zahir, who was bent intently over the lap sized loom he held.
Finally, in frustration, he threw it from himself onto the table, staring at it with loathing. “This is women's work. Why can't I do this?”
Jon flicked his eyes from the loom to Zahir, wondering in the back of his mind why Zahir would do it in the first place, more than why he was doing it poorly.
“It's a hard life,” Raoul jested, pouring a drink for himself and Zahir. “A hard life indeed,” he grinned.
