Title: Test threads [2] Rating: R Word Count: 411 Pairing: Lark/Rosethorn Round/Fight: 1/B Summary: Lark is fortunate
The second time, sunlight splashes over her, collecting in pools, and even with her eyes wide open she can see only fine, close weave, dyed by the light. Lark’s tongue, light on her throat and her collarbone, sweet and slow enough for Rosethorn’s breath to stutter into something shallow.
“I don’t—”
“If it’s too much, then you’ll tell me. But it’s not, yet.”
Rosethorn whimpered as she felt the small, anticipatory catch in Lark’s voice. Felt lips against her ear.
“Is it?”
“Ah—no.” Hands on her breasts, her nipples tight and hard and all of her arching, aching where skin met only air. “No, it’s not. It’s—I want you, Lark.”
“I’m right here.” A thigh between her legs, dancer-muscles still, her skin cool and barely yielding as Rosethorn pressed up from her hips and gasped.
“If you’re going to keep my tied like this, madwoman, then—uh—use me.”
“Oh?” Laughter, soft and skirling about them. “How might I do that?”
Rosethorn laughed, too, feeling herself drawn-out and strange and remembering first touches, sweet-but-tentative touches, where she had not felt so brave. And Lark shifted, the weight of her solid against Rosethorn’s chest as she moved and trialled and the bound woman leant up and against her, into her, and the world was close and hot and full of sliding skin as she tasted what she could not see.
