Title: Aloe Rating: G Word Count: 100 Pairing: Lark/Rosethorn Round/Fight: 1/B Summary: Lark is like aloe.
Aloe was calming and soothing. It made the perfect balm to treat burns and other irritations. Lark, Lark was aloe in her most basic state. All she need do was exert her presence and the world calmed around her. One word from Lark and the world righted itself instantly. She was the perfect treatment for Rosethorn’s naturally caustic existence. In fact, her presence was such a soothing existence that Rosethorn had to make an effort to be annoying. It was as though Lark’s calm had rubbed off on the other woman, and she wasn’t sure what she thought of that.

I love thinking of Lark as Aloe vera, especially as it has always been a favourite plant of mine. Lovely lovely! (And the line Kit picked out is definitely a winner!)
