Title: Decisions Rating: G Word Count: 128 Pairing: Lark/Rosethorn Round/Fight: 2/B Summary: Lark thinks about decisions she’s made and decisions she wants to make.
Lark watched Rosethorn in her garden, the cup of chilled water from the well leaking condensation on her hand. She paused in her musing to wipe the silly smile off her face.
It seemed it hadn’t been all that long ago with Briar, Daja, Sandry, and Tris had come to them. And now they were gone, and there were new stories to be told in Discipline.
But she and Rosethorn were still here. With each other. Taking the water to her, Lark inquired politely about Rosethorn’s plans for the garden this year. In the back of her mind, Lark quietly approved of her life. It may not have been perfect, but every decision she had ever made had led her to this point: and she was beyond happy.

It may not have been perfect, but every decision she had ever made had led her to this point: and she was beyond happy. May we all be so lucky as to feel this. (: Well done. I love the details in the story as well, how simple and domestic it is - one of my favourite parts of Rosie/Lark. It can be exciting adventures or quiet home-life; I love both, but may have to admit special fondness for the latter. Lovely story!

I tend to take this view on my own life, and I think Lark would be the same in that regard. So I wanted to give her and Rosie a little slice of home-life that was quiet and normal for a change. Those children sure do know how to work up a fuss, amirite? XD
