Title: Harmony Rating: PG Word Count: 130 Pairing: Lark/ Rosethorn Fight: 2/B Summary: Rosethorn realizes that a truly physical relationship is never going to be enough with Lark.
Rosethorn was at a quandary. She knew that the Living Circle accepted and was open to relationships of all kinds, but honestly most people who had dedicated their lives to the Gods were unwilling to dedicate their lives to another mortal. They would seek the pleasure of others as need be, then return to their individual dormitories.
Rosethorn knew that with Lark such a relationship was never going to work out. They were like two halves of a whole, yet she knew of no couples who openly shared quarters within the temple. It was with that in mind that she was going to speak with Moonstream. Perhaps, there was something either in the dictates of the Living Circle or precedent that would allow the women to live together in harmony.

They would seek the pleasure of others as need be, then return to their individual dormitories. This idea - instead of dedicating lives to another mortal - makes lots of sense to me in the land of Living Circle. I hadn't really thought about it before. Good point!
Perhaps, there was something either in the dictates of the Living Circle or precedent that would allow the women to live together in harmony. D'awr. I sure hope so. (:

I'm not really sure where exactly that came from, but it's part of my head cannon now.
