“That friend of Cooper’s is a nice young lad.”
“He’s not that young. Same age as Cooper, I’d guess.”
Mattes snorted. “That’s still plenty young. But I suppose if that’s what you like – handsome lad, strong, probably flexible too-“
“Doesn’t let his mouth run when I don’t want it to,” she interrupted.
Mattes gave her a wounded look. “You called him Ersken.”
Clary couldn’t resist winding him up a little before she gave in to his sulking. “That’s his name, Tunstall.”
“Very funny,” he muttered. “You know as well as I that it’s the wrong one.”
Clary rolled her eyes. “You can cut the sulking now, you’re still better in bed.”
