Title: The faraway sky

Summary: Mattes has a tendency to get sidetracked.
“You’re beautiful like this, you know.”
“Like this?” she repeated.
Mattes nodded. “Mmm. You’re beautiful anyway, what with your dark hair and deep brown eyes and lovely figure,” he trailed his hands down her sides to her hips, “but something about being out in the sun, with the grass and the trees and the warmth of the sun, and I look up at you and see your face framed by the deep, bright blue of the faraway sky, and –“
“Mattes.”
“What?”
“You’re talking too much. Yet again.” Mattes pulled her down to him and began to kiss her neck, and Clary gasped as he gently bit her. A smile tugged at her lips. “That’s much better,” she murmured.
