Title: Solution (Dogs on Ice 3)

Pairing: Clary/Mattes

Summary: The most frustrating part was that she’d asked for it, really. Set in Verasque’s Dogs on Ice AU, as a sequel to Challenge.
“Hi, Clary.”
Clary glared at him. “Only people I like get to call me Clary.”
Mattes shrugged. “Remember how last week, Ahuda wanted us to practice skating next to each other holding hands, and then I made a slightly inappropriate comment, and then you said I had to figure out a way to do it without touching you?”
Clary rolled her eyes. “Duh.”
“Well, I figured something out.” He took advantage of her distraction while she was looking in her bag, and clipped one of the handcuffs around her wrist before quickly sticking his own in the other half and shutting it.
Clary’s eyes widened as she stared at it. “Unlock it, now.”
Mattes grinned smugly. “I don’t have the key. My mate’s bringing it when we’re done…and he’ll have a camera, so if I were you, I’d be nice.”
“AHUDA!”
“I saw, and heard,” she said. “Sounds like you better behave yourself, missy.”
“But…but we can’t skate like this, it’s hazardous!” protested Clary.
Ahuda glanced at the handcuffs. “They’re not that bad, you’ll be fine. Now get on the ice.”
Clary scowled and stomped away from the bench, dragging Mattes behind her. “I’m going to get you back for this,” she hissed.
