Summary: Buri is focused. Thayet distracts.
"Thayet!"
They were sitting side by side at a table in their command room, going over plans and reports. But, not for the first time that day, Buri found Thayet's hand moving up her thigh.
"Yes?" Thayet's tone was entirely innocent.
"Stop it," Buri hissed. "The door's open. Anybody could-"
"Who would? Sarge has the trainees, and all the groups are out in the field. It's just us-"
"Who are supposed to be drawing up supply lists for the groups."
"We've been working all day," Thayet wheedled. "There's nothing wrong with a little fun." Her hand inched higher.
For a minute Buri tried to ignore her, focusing on the stack of reports as best she could. Then she groaned. "At least close the door!" she insisted.
Thayet grinned. "Is that any way to speak to your queen?"
