Title: Puppy (Photo #11) Rating: PG Word count: 146 Pairing: Clary/Mattes Round/Fight: 4/A Summary: A puppy can be seen in two very different lights. Note: A series based on the photos in a list of 100 beautiful examples of photo manipulation. “I don’t want a puppy, Mattes! We were doing just fine. Why would we need another sodden person to tag along?” Clary was beyond frustrated. It wasn’t that young Copper didn’t seem like a good puppy just that, well, she was a puppy.
“Do you know why they call them puppies, Clary? Not just because they’re young Dogs. Because they are cute and lively and fun. Don’t you think we could use fun?”
“You have it backwards, you looby. They’re puppies because they are yappy and underfoot and make messes of everything. You may like chaos, but that isn’t my kind of fun.”
“Give her a week. If she doesn’t prove she’ll be worth it by then, I owe you dinner.”
“And if she doesn’t turn out to be a foot-tripping, under-noose green-wood?”
“Then you have to make up for the fun we missed out on.”

I love how you show their contrasting opinions! And Mattes's sneakiness. I'm noticing that you're very good with his sneakiness.

To me he is all sweetness and sneak and adorable. Plus if he wants to get Clary, he's going to have to be sneaky! Make her think it was all her idea, right? Thank you!
