Summary: Mattes has had relations with plenty of mots.
Mattes had relations with plenty of mots around Corus. Clary assumed it was something to do his easy-going nature and carefree charms that made the women flock to him; and she supposed some might even consider him handsome. He never led them on, he always made sure of that, he was good man her Mattes... Though certainly some of his lovers had become rather attached; some had even become a problem, following them around on their watch. They'd gaze after him love-struck cracknobs, and he'd laugh and blush at Clary's teasing, and send them on their way. But now, he had that look in his eye, as he gazed after her, that Lady Knight. Clary knew that this one would be a problem. And this one might not be so easy to send away.
