Title: Blow Rating: PG Word Count: 108 Pairing: Kalasin/Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/C Summary: Wyldon is not interested. Written for Lisa, cos I promised her K/W and the bunny bit me. Kalasin wondered how she could possibly convince him that this was what was best for them both. “But Lord Wyldon – “ “I have no desire for another wife, particularly not a princess younger than my own daughters.” Wyldon interrupted curtly. “Now if you will excuse me, I have some reports to write.” The words hit her like a blow. She knew he was angry, with her father, with his circumstances, with his misfortune, with the Gods for taking Vivenne away. He said it only out of anger and frustration, she was sure of it. It shouldn’t have hurt, but it did, more than she would care to admit. QC by: inthefire

(I have to tell you that my brain went to a bad, bad place with that title)
That was a) beautifully written, and b) more than a little devastating. I'm amazed how much I can feel for both of them in so few words.

Kit, you weren't the only one. I liked the frustration in this piece - it was very tangible. Thank you, Isha!

The frustration in this is so real- I feel like I can just reach out and grab it.
