Summary: Crack in which Alanna deals with rumors with her typical patience and restraint.
The Lioness was not very happy. “I get enough embarrassing personal questions about myself. I don't need to be asked about the two of you.”
“Wait, both of us?” Gary asked. “I thought....”
Alanna glared at him. “Well, they don't mention you, but you're still part of it. I know what you're up to. I don't WANT to know, I didn't ASK, but I still have to hear all these rumors.”
“You're turning red,” Raoul said mildly. He held up his hands to forestall any possibility of attack. “I'm sorry that you were put in this situation, but getting angry about it just proves them right.”
“THEY ARE RIGHT.”
“Nevertheless,” Gary said, primly.
Alanna threw up her hands and walked out, which was what they'd wanted anyway. They had important rumors to start.
