Title: A Wish Is A Dream Your Heart Makes Rating: G Word Count: 182 Pairing: Briar/Daja/Sandry/Tris – Team Circlecest Round/Fight: 1/H Summary: Unrequited love. A/N: Not sure if this has enough of all of them...?
Sandry wipes her hands on her breeches, looking entirely too proud of herself considering how little work she’s done. The dark blue of her breeches clings to her hips and the dirt from her hands doesn’t at all. He makes himself focus on the delicate seedling he’s transplanting, cupping the soft roots and dirt gently as he lowers it into a new pot. His fingers feel cool, dug into the dirt; he wiggles them and smiles, then sits back on his heels.
“How much longer will this take?” asks Sandry, glancing over her shoulder at the house. A long strand of hair has come loose from her plait to follow the line of her neck. He almost wants to kiss her then, to stand up and pull her close with his dirty hands.
Instead, he looks down at the pot in front of him. “Not much longer.” He knows she’s probably thinking of dinner, and having it ready by the time Daja and Tris return, and other sensible Sandry-like things. But he wishes she would stay.
(And wishes she would want to.)

Loved it. I have an odd love for parentheses, and you use them really well here. Great description and emotion.
