Title: The Bookworm & The Beast Rating: G Word Count: 158 Pairing: Briar/Daja/Sandry/Tris – Team Circlecest Round/Fight: 2/C Summary: Tris doesn't listen well. [Beauty & the Beast rewrite]
The first time Tris directly disobeyed Briar, it was to enter the east wing. She had no idea what he was protecting there- perhaps a library to deny her, or maybe a harem, or gods only knew what. But she wanted to see. His roar shook the very walls. All she had found had been a single red rose, glowing, encased in delicate glass with iron work tendrils running up the side. She had no idea how she knew, but that metal bespoke of Daja. The second time Tris disobeyed Briar, she ventured too far into the estates and ran into a group of bandits. Poverty had touched every corner of the realm. Her clothing was shredded, to say nothing of the way she’d electrocuted one of the bandits. She didn’t say a word as Sandry and Evvy worked to fix her clothing and cuts. They could do nothing to fix the rage that boiled under the surface.

She had no idea how she knew, but that metal bespoke of Daja. D'awr.
They could do nothing to fix the rage that boiled under the surface. If we know anything about Tris in any AU, it's that she can have the rage boiling under her skin at any moment. :B The bandits were a nice touch, too - and the discourse of the land.
