Title: The Bookworm & The Beast Rating: G Word Count: 232 Pairing: Briar/Daja/Sandry/Tris – Team Circlecest Round/Fight: 2/C Summary: The help plots. [Beauty & the Beast rewrite]
“Can we pull this off?” The meeting consisted of Daja and Sandry, Niko (who could appear in any mirror in the manor), Evvy (a small stone bowl), and a few other kitchen help. “Of course we can.” Gorse, the huge chef who had been turned into an even bigger iron oven, piped up. “It’s just a matter of going about it in the right way.” “Tris is a good girl, from what I can tell. She’s got a temper.” “She’ll need it.” Sandry sighed and brought out her latest weaving. She was dead tired from it, but exhaustion was only an illusion in this form (or so she thought). Spreading the tapesty, she pointed it out. “See here?” she gestured to a very large blank spot on the canvas, just the basic cream. “It can go either way.” She pointed towards the other end. “Here, this is where they met.” She seemed amused as she continued, “You can tell by all the red.” Niko, the one with the clearest vision, peered at it. “This could work.” He sighed. “We’ll work together. Starting tomorrow morning. I’ll find out what the Miss likes. You two,” he eyed Daja and Sandry, “keep the master contained if possible. And for Merlin’s sake, get him to trim that atrocious beard.” The meeting ended on a good note as they all went their separate ways for the evening.

Evvy (a small stone bowl) *Snerk.* Probably a small stone bowl with a rock in it. :Þ And I was just thinking 'Gorse has to be in this! "For Merlin's sake" - I approve! And I love the loom-mapping and -reading. This is all so well done!
