Title: All Hallows (IV) Rating: PG Word Count: 150 Pairing: Raoul/Sabine Round/Fight: 1/G Summary: It was how much she reminded him of Sabine that he was drawn to Buri.
When he met Buri, he noticed quite a few parallels between his nighttime lover and the dark young girl. Neither were afraid of speaking their minds (he knew that from the moment the young girl met him with “Gods, you ARE big aren’t you?”). Buri would mention the stupidity of a new law just as quickly as Sabine would chide him for stupidities. The new girl would look at him and set him on fire, just as the knight’s touch did.
But it was the laugh that caught him most off guard. The first time he heard the Princess’s body guard throw back her head and laugh he almost spit out his wine. It was full throated and sweet and hearty. It was the kind of laugh he only heard in the Own’s barracks or the worst of the city's bars.
It was then he decided he could do with some long term company, not just a yearly friend.

I love the comparison, and espcially Buri's laugh.
