The poor, poor Trebond children.
Title: All Out War Rating: G Summary: It was bound to happen eventually. The Trebond children clash over their names. Warnings: Snowball fights.
-
Eventually it delves into all-out war: the Normal Names versus the Crazy Ones. Jonthair takes command of the Crazies and Alinna gathers her opposing troops: Daran, Liam, Rose and Elenna, at least until she gets tired and wants to play with her dolls. There's a slight battle over who gets Buran, but eventually it's decided to just leave him in the nursery- two year olds aren't the best at fighting, even with snowballs and sticks.
Jonthair and Thomsen attempt to work out some sort of strategy with snowforts, but Thayine decides that she's a princess in a snowy castle and that whole idea can't off as planned. Alinna is far more cunning than her two brothers and sends little Rosie around as a distraction, all wobbling eyes and pouty lips as she stares endearingly up at her 'favorite brother' but doesn't specify which. Thomsen and Mylec get in a fight and Thayine abandons her castle to defect to the side without smelly boys and their fists.
Finally it's Jonthair against the combined forces of Alinna, Daran, and Liam, with Rose and Thayine frantically making snowballs behind a protective shrubbery.
He loses, of course, even when pointing out that he was named after the king.

Bulls-eye! There was a great playful dynamic in it that captured the beauty of childhood and family. The last line was the cherry on top

Just found this, it's absolutely adorable. Something like this just had to be written, and I love the sweet family dynamic.
