Alanna watched Kel as she walked down the isle towards Owen, who was waiting with a large smile across her face. Her friend truly was beautiful and the way that she floated along the ground was more graceful than Alanna would have thought possible. There was a point during Kel’s engagement where the two of them had considered becoming more than friends, but they wisely decided against it. Kel had Owen and Alanna had George. They were both blissfully happy with their men and saw no reason to wreck it. But Alanna still wondered if they would have been happier together.
