Summary: Our heroes can disappoint.
“Gods all damn it, Kel, why aren’t you in the lanes with him right now?” The door to her room slams open, ricocheting off of the wall as the Lioness storms through, a small hurricane of rage. “Why didn’t you challenge him?”
Kel looks up, startled. She studies the other woman for a moment. Then quietly, “I issue no challenge, because I am unisulted.” As Alanna enters the room still fuming, Kel continues. “It’s not an issue for me.”
Kel’s voice is steady, and her gaze unwavering. She watches Alanna pace. There is no lie to her words. “Why? Does it bother you?”
“I…” Alanna pauses, and stops, her anger cooled by her suprise. She looks back to Kel, “...did... not expect this.” She regards the younger woman for a moment, her look mirroring the Lady Knight’s. “You’re not just being stoic? Ignoring the slight? I know you’ve dealt with these sorts of things since you were a page.”
Kel’s brow furrows in confusion, as she tries to understand the thought behind Alanna’s look. She shakes her head slowly. “No, Lioness. I am truly not bothered by it...” Alanna looks away. “But you are.”
There is a long pause. The two women eye each other. Then Alanna mumurs, “I’ve disappointed you, haven’t I?”
Kel looks at her for a moment, then sighs. The corners of her mouth turn up in a smile, but her eyes are broken. Finally she looks away. “Yes. You have.”

I love how Kel confronts her, and how Alanna just knows that she's disappointed Kel.
Maybe once we'd have seen it during Smackdown!
