Title: Invite
Rating: PG13
Length: 262
Competitor: Sabine
Round/Fight: 3/B
Summary: Sabine is in Tortall, and she and Kel are looking for a playmate.
“He’s cute,” Sabine whispered, soft lips brushing the curve of Kel’s ear teasingly. Kel glanced over to where Neal was standing and shook her head. Trust Sabine to have the oddest taste in men.
“Sabine, he’s my best friend. It would be weird.”
The other woman laughed, and Kel gave her a look when Neal turned their way. Something fizzled low in Kel’s stomach. No. Definitely a bad idea.
“But don’t you think he’s cute? You can tell me,” coaxed Sabine. Neal was staring at them now, no doubt wondering why the two of them were standing so close they were almost joined at the hip. His eyes did look nice today, thought Kel. They always did.
Sabine must have seen that Kel was starting to reconsider, if the way she bit her lip and glanced furtively at the tall, young knight was anything to go by. Sabine smiled. “Come on, Kel. Please.”
Kel finally took her eyes off Neal. “Fine. But if this all goes to hell, it’s your fault.”
Sabine grinned and grabbed Kel around the waist. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see the young knight eyeing them curiously. Time to reel him in, she thought mischievously. Closing the small space between them, Sabine leaned forward and locked her lips gently to Kel’s, smiling against the other woman’s mouth.
She needn’t have looked back over at the young knight to have known that his gaze was now firmly locked on the two women, his own arousal rising with every parting of their lips. He was hooked.
