It is an uneasy dream she falls into.
Her fingers are tangled in dark hair, kisses light and rough and needy.
She can't see the face, doesn't want to. She knows that it is not the face she wants, that these hands are callused but not as soft as she wants, that the hair is several shades too dark and the eyes are closer to the ocean than the river she desires.
Was it so bad, to be with him and pretend that it was Keladry? To fantasise of things that were never reality, to use him when all she wants is someone that will not want her now?
Is it so bad, when he whispers Keladry's name and not her own and to know that he is the same?
