Title: Rapture Rating: G Length: 153 words Competitor: Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: A woman does not need to be Gifted to be gifted. An excuse for slight word play. Inspired by Malorie's Peak Prompt #10 Magic (Rosie, I guess you just have awesome prompts).
----
She did not have the Gift, but she was gifted in so many other ways: like her ability to burn his flesh with one touch, or how she made his heart pound with one soft kiss. He had thought he had grown to love his wife, and so he had, but there was a difference between the quiet peace to which he was accustomed and the rolling ocean of emotion that made him smile when she did and made his stomach jump when she laughed and made his arms wrap around her when she looked close to breaking.
She was not beautiful until he fell into the beauty of her soul. He did not realize that she was both warrior and woman until he fought by her side by day and laid by her side by night.
Yes, Keladry had a magic all her own, and she had snagged Wyldon in her spell.

(Rosie, I guess you just have awesome prompts). ;D Did I mention I adore you? No, really, because this was another stunning fic. I love the beauty is in the eye of the beholder tone to this, and the emotion invested in it.
