Title: Better Late than Never Rating: G Length: 155 (words) Competitor: Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Kel realizes that she should have never married Dom in the first place.
Knights work through all types of pain he had said. Even emotional pain. You don’t break down, even when you’ve made the wrong choice. You do something about it, even when it’s admitting to your husband of three months that you’ve slept with another man, and you don’t love him anymore. Kel knew she had to do it. Had to tell Dom about what had happened between her and Lord Wyldon that night. Had to face him, own up to what she did, with no regrets. Because she didn’t regret it at all. Even though it may have been wrong, if she hadn’t spent that night, that wonderful night, she never would have known she made a mistake in marrying Dom. She never would have found love, in the least expected place. Tardiness costs lives, Lord Wyldon had often said. He was right. It cost her the married life she might have had with Dom.

Really great; interesting take too, since there have been a fair amount of ficlets focussing on Wyldon's infidelity.

Oooh, I like this concept. That's *so* not what I was thinking of with that line, so it's interesting to read someone else's take on it!
