Title: Let is snow, let it snow, Let it snow! Rating: G Length: 251 Competitor: Dom Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Midwinter kiss yadiyadiyah
Kel stood on the curtain wall looking straight out to the city, which extended out on both sides of the Oloron River. The sight before her was blanketed with a thick layer of snow making the scene look almost magical. She sighed as the sun sank and cast strays of orange light over the river and snow.
She hadn’t heard Dom approaching behind her. He admired the way she complemented the scene before them.
“Interesting way to spend midwinter”
She half turned to face him “Much better than in a crowded ball room”
Dom didn’t reply, but leaned next to her, he guessed she was right sunset over the city was beautiful. The way the receding light bounced of Kel’s, hair and skin was what drew Dom in. Slowly he raised his hand to her face tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. He held her eyes for a moment then leaned in to kiss her.
She loved the way he smelt and tasted. Spices from mulled wine, flowers and snow. As she wrapped her arms around his neck snow began to fall, the moon was casting an eerie but wonderful glow over them as snow settled on them. Dom stood back to look into her face. Her dreamy hazel eyes were lined with feminine long eyelashes now lightly dusted with snow. He smiled at her unique beauty unlike that of women he had previously courted.
“Midwinter’s luck?” she whispered
“I think that will last me the whole year”
